Welcome to Avola Antica Turismo Rurale
We are dedicated to offering more than just clean, comfortable accommodations with modern amenities—we aim to provide an experience that is both memorable and unique. With warm hospitality, attentive service, and thoughtful details throughout your stay, our goal is to create an inviting atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression.

Tourist Tax

The agreed room tariff is inclusive of IVA (VAT) but excludes the Tourist contribution tax, which is currently €2.00 per person per night, up to a maximum of €14.00 per person per stay. This tax is payable upon check-in or check-out. Children up to 13 years are exempt.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in is available from 3:00 PM onwards. Guests are kindly asked to present a valid passport or ID card, along with a credit card in their name, upon arrival.
Check-out is by 11:00 AM. All bills must be settled at this time, either in cash (Euro) or with a standard credit/debit card.

Unstacked Minibar

Each room is equipped with a mini-fridge for guest use.

Security

In-room safes are provided for storing valuables. However, the host accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings, whether from the room, the safe, or any other part of the property.

Food & Beverage Policy

Guests are kindly asked not to bring outside food or beverages for consumption in the bar, swimming pool, or other public areas of the hotel. The preparation of food inside the house is not permitted, except in exceptional cases which may be considered on an individual basis.

Dining Information

Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast each morning, included with every stay. Lunch and dinner are available at an additional cost, unless the Half Board supplement has been booked, in which case dinner is included.

Family-Friendly Hotel Policy

Our hotel is proud to be family-friendly and welcomes guests of all ages. To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone, we kindly ask that children are supervised by their parents or guardians at all times while on the property.

Pet-Friendly Hotel Policy

We’re happy to welcome your furry friends! Our hotel is pet-friendly, and well-behaved pets are invited to join you during your stay. To ensure the comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask that pets are supervised at all times and not left unattended in guest rooms.

Amenities & facilities

Guests can make full use of the amenities and services offered, in observation of basic rules and ethics:

  • Strict hygiene is to be observed at all times, especially for the use of the swimming pool. Guests are required to thoroughly shower off sun protection or other creams or oils, hair gels etc. immediately prior to entering the pool. An open-air shower with hot/cold water is located immediately next to the pool for this purpose.
  •  The sun-deck is for the enjoyment of all guests, and guests are requested not to block sun-beds by placing towels etc. as all public areas are to be shared by all.
  • Guests are to be completely dry before entering the restaurant or any other area of the hotel.
  • Guests cannot enter the restaurant, or go to other public areas, in their swimwear/bathing costumes.
  • Excursions/tours booked on behalf of guests are to be paid for at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

Guests may cancel free of charge until 15 days before arrival. Cancellations from 14 days or less prior to arrival will carry a 100% cancellation fee.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly not allowed in any of the rooms, or inside the hotel. There are designated smoking areas, and smokers can only smoke here.

Guest Services & Housekeeping

Each room is equipped with all the expected facilities, and our host is happy to assist with any special requests whenever possible. Rooms are cleaned daily, with bed linen changed every 3–4 nights unless otherwise requested. To support water conservation, we kindly encourage guests to reuse towels and bathrobes; fresh ones are provided upon request.

Recommendations & Third-Party Services

The host and team are always happy to suggest activities or experiences that may be of interest to guests. Recommendations are made in good faith, with the belief that third-party providers maintain high standards of quality. However, the host cannot be held liable for the services or products delivered by these providers. The final choice rests with the guest, and any concerns or complaints should be addressed directly with the service provider.

Loss of Keys / Damage to Property

Guests are expected to take proper care of the house keys. A replacement fee of €150.00 will be charged for any lost keys. Guests must also treat all property and furnishings with care, with particular attention to the original art installations displayed throughout the house. An inventory of these installations is maintained, and guests will be held liable for any loss or damage caused by themselves, their visitors, or anyone under their responsibility.

House Safety & Security – CCTV

To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay, guests are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the property’s safety features and be mindful of any potentially hazardous areas. Guests are solely responsible for their own health and safety at all times. The host shall not be held liable for any injury, accident, or related claim. For added security, CCTV cameras operate in public areas of the property and may record activity.

Host’s Rights

Guests are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner at all times, both within the property and in the surrounding neighbourhood. The host reserves the absolute right to request a guest to vacate the premises immediately, without prior notice and without providing a reason. This decision is final and non-negotiable. Should a guest fail to comply, the host may remove the guest’s belongings and, if necessary, seek assistance from law enforcement or security services.

Relationship Between Host and Guest

Nothing in these terms shall be interpreted as creating a tenancy, sub-tenancy, or any other legal right to occupy the premises. The host retains full and exclusive possession of the entire property at all times.

Compliance with Laws

Guests are kindly requested to comply with all applicable laws, acts, and government rules and regulations in effect during their stay.

Photography & Videography

Any photographs or videos taken in or around the hotel may only be used for commercial or public purposes with the host’s prior written consent. Guests are, of course, welcome to capture as many photos and videos as they wish for personal use, reviews, or sharing on social media—and we’d love it if you tag us!
